Sites of Interest & Brownfield Opportunities
Through the brownfield inventory process the City of Paris, KY has begun to identify sites of interest and brownfields that may warrant further environmental investigation. These sites may faster transition to redevelopment through gaining both EPA brownfield grant assistance as well as through other federal and state of KY grant programs.
The following sites have spawned questions and are anticipated to become priority sites in need anticipated to require additional brownfield assessment and assistance:
137 W. 7th Street - former Bourbon Dry Cleaning - Laundry site
21 Ardery Place - Historical 1800s brick building
219 East 19th Street - Former recycling center
301 Pleasant St - Historic building in Downtown Paris Historic District
