The Community Story

Through environmental justice assistance provided through Groundwork USA, the Paris, KY story, of environmental justice, and resilience was captured in a film by Meerkat Productions. This film explores the 1965 installation of a City Incinerator, Waste Transfer Station and dump areas within and adjacent to Chief Reed Park in the middle of the West Side Neighborhood area, and the process that community members hove joined together in to drive change and betterment.
